Mica Heaters Band heaters Plate heaters L & U shaped Box / Frame heaters Clamp plates available - 2,3,4,6 & 8mm thick Mineral insulated Nozzle, band and plate heaters with any number of holes or cut outs, exactly to customer specifications. Although not as robust as cast heaters, mica heaters are ideal for low cost heating. Ceramic Kunckle Heaters Band heaters Plate heaters Particularly suitable for high temperature applications - 45W / "2 - 7W / cm2, ceramic knuckle heaters are available with any number of holes or cut outs, exactly to customer specifications. Cartridge Heaters High watt density - Over 85W / "2 - 13W / cm2 Medium watt density Low watt density - Up to 50W / "2 - 7.7W / cm2 Cartrige heaters are suitable for use in plastics extrusion tooling, blow moulding, injection moulding as well as wide range of packaging and food processing applications. Typically straight with lead exit from one end / side, or as a 90 degree elbow type. Common size heaters range from Dia 6mm - 20mm (typical 7 - 10 days delivery), other sizes available as made to order (10 - 15 days delivery).
